Meet Tina Presta
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Hello and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Seeking support is a courageous step, and my goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. Whether you're navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or personal growth, I’m here to help you find clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

What to Expect In Counselling
Every person’s journey is unique, and I believe that therapy should reflect that. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from a wide range of techniques to support you in a way that feels right for you. Our work together will be collaborative, with the flexibility to adapt to your needs and goals.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you—your experiences, challenges, and hopes for the future. I take a whole-person approach, meaning we consider not just your thoughts and emotions, but also your overall well-being, lifestyle, and past experiences to get a clearer picture of what you need.

Counselling isn’t about labelling or fixing—it’s about exploration, support, and creating a space where you can show up as yourself. Together, we’ll identify patterns, work through challenges, and build tools that empower you to move forward with confidence.

Initial Sessions (1-3 sessions): Understanding your concerns, background, and goals for therapy.
Therapeutic Work: Exploring patterns, developing new coping strategies, and working through emotional blocks at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Ongoing Reflection: Checking in on your progress, making adjustments, and ensuring the work we do aligns with your needs.
Completion & Integration: Strengthening the tools and insights gained in therapy to support long-term well-being.
This Process May Include
Session Timeline:
Sessions typically last 50 minutes to 1 hour, with longer sessions available as needed. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation if you’d like to connect before scheduling an appointment.
Therapy is a space for you, and my goal is to create an environment that feels safe, open, and welcoming.
